Biography
Born in Canada, Christine Batruch is a graduate of Toronto University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and McGill University in Montreal, where she obtained degrees in Civil and Common Law. In 1989 she qualified as barrister and solicitor of the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ontario Canada. During the 1990s, Christine Batruch was based in Geneva working in the non-profit, academic and business sectors. She joined Lundin Oil in 1999 as a consultant and became Vice President Corporate Responsibility at Lundin Petroleum in 2002.
