Biography

Mr. Murley has been the Chief Executive Officer of Material Sciences Corporation since May of 2010, when it acquired the Company’s four divisions from Northern Steel Group (a division of Severstal). Mr. Murley had been the CEO of Northern Steel Group since November 2008 and was previously the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. Prior to working at Severstal, Mr. Murley spent twenty years at Worthington Steel Company in various capacities, serving as Vice President of Operations for his last six years with the company. Mr. Murley has a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Michigan.
