He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Volvo Car Corporation Ltd., of Ford Motor Co. from October 1, 2005 to September 2008. He served as Vice President of Ford Motor Co., from September 1, 2005 to September 2008. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trelleborg AB until October 1, 2005. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Boliden Kemi AB. He has worked with the private equity industry in the Nordic region since 2000. He has been an Executive Chairman of Qioptiq Limited since January 2010. He serves as the Chairman of Mediplast AB and has been its Director since 2010. He has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Qioptiq S.A.R.L. since January 2010. He serves as Executive Chairman of QIOPTIQ GmbH. He has been the Chairman of Nolato AB (publ) since April 2009.
