Biography

Chief Medical Officer. Education: Physical education. educated at Linköping University, med.dr. within experimental pathology at Lund University. Employed: 2014 Background:Previously been Medivir Director, Clinical Research & Development. Prior to that, Senior Director of Experimental Medicine at the pharmaceutical company Shire. Has also held positions at AstraZeneca in Södertälje, including as a Group Director responsible for early development in the field of cognitive and neurodegenerative diseases. He has been active in cancer research, first at Lund University, where he studied in experimental pathology, and subsequently at Karolinska Institutet. Underwent medical education at Linköping University with subsequent clinical service at Karolinska University Hospital.

Research Interest

His research interests lie in Healthcare and Medical Sciences. He is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
