Biography
Dr. Randell is the Director of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at Portage Health in Houghton, Michigan and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University. Randell is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Randell completed his doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in May of 2005, a Fellowship program at Regis University in August of 2007, a Manual Therapy Certification in April of 2004 from the University of Saint Augustine, and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 1999. Dr. Randell has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1996. He has been the treasurer for the Upper Peninsula District of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and a delegate for the American Physical Therapy Association. He currently teaches Exercise Assessment and Prescription for the Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology Department at Michigan Technological University. He serves as a mentor and advisor for Pre-Medicine and Allied Health Care students who are involved with clinical internships and research. Mark has also served as an advisor for student projects and research in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and Systems Engineering.
