Anna Hedqvist

Biography

Anna works in Sigtuna and is one of the veterinarians who have been with us the longest. She completed veterinary education in Uppsala in December 1999 and started at the clinic in 2000. She has also worked as a district veterinary clinic in Norrköping and a seminar veterinarian at Stall Tilly under the direction of Mälaren Hästklinik. Before Anna studied for a veterinarian, she worked 15 years as a nurse at an infection department. Anna is a graduate school teacher and has her own horses ridden and exercised at the hobby level. She has competed in jumping, dressage, field competition and even full-time. Anna is now a farmer too, when she and her family, consisting of husband and son, have bought a farm with a cattle herd and spacecrafted hens.
