Biography
Dr. Donald S. Clem received his certificate in periodontics from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1984. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is the recipient of numerous awards in his field, including recognition by the California Society of Periodontists for “Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Periodontics,” and was co-recipient of the Clinical Research Award by the American Academy of Periodontology for his publication on implant function in regenerated bone. He is also a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fuchard Academy. His publications include articles on conscious sedation, periodontal regeneration, and dental implants. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on these topics. Dr. Clem has been in full-time practice in the fields of periodontics and dental implants in Fullerton, California, since 1984.
