Biography
Luigi Costa has been Independent Director at Oncopeptides AB since 2016. Luigi has over 20 years of experience in the international pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In addition to being a board member of Oncopeptide, Luigi is the CEO of Nordic Nanovector ASA, a public biotech company focusing on the development and commercialization of novel targeted therapeutics in hematology and oncology. Luigi’s previous positions include Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Onyx Pharmaceuticals where he led the company’s international organization and the prelaunch and launch of its multiple myeloma drug, Kyprolis in markets outside the USA. Prior to joining Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Luigi held several leadership positions with Amgen, including Head of International Oncology Fanchise, General Manager of Amgen Italy and President of Amgen France, the company’s largest market outside the USA. He has also held various leadership positions with Eli Lilly both in Europe and America. Luigi holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Parma and an MBA from Bocconi Business School in Milan.
