Biography
Dorte X. Gram is an inventor, founder and majority owner of PILA PHARMA that she founded in 2014. The company is based on a discovery that she did by co-incidence way back in 1999 when she was a PhD student at Novo Nordisk, Denmark. The discovery was that capsaicin-sensitive nerves may be involved in the regulation of metabolism and we later found that the capsaicin-receptor, TRPV1, might be responsible for this.
