Murray Aitken

Biography

Murray Aitken is senior vice president and executive director, QuintilesIMS Institute, which provides policy setters and decision makers in the global health sector with objective insights into healthcare dynamics. Murray served in the same role at IMS Health since 2011. Previously, he was senior vice president, Healthcare Insight, leading IMS Health’s thought leadership initiatives worldwide. Before that, Murray served as senior vice president, Corporate Strategy from 2004 to 2007. He joined IMS Health in 2001 with responsibility for developing the company’s consulting and services businesses. Prior to that, Murray had a 14-year career with McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Products practice from 1997 to 2001.
