Biography
Thomas Brimert received a PhD in organic chemistry from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. During his post-doc at the University of Odense in Denmark, he developed new synthetic methods of supramolecular building blocks. As Senior Research Scientist at the Medicinal Chemistry, AstraZeneca R&D Lund, 2000-2011, he contributed to successfully delivered clinical candidates within the respiratory & inflammation therapy area. Thomas is co-author of 7 scientific publications and 8 patents.
