Mats Johansson

Biography

Mr. Mats Johansson is Co-Founder of Spintop Ventures since 2009 and is its Partner since 2009. His area of focus is taking big ideas from consumer internet, media, fintech and learning sectors from garage to global. Mr. Johansson co-founded TeknoSeed AB in 2009 and has been Partner since 2009. Mr. Johansson is also a Senior Advisor at GP Bullhound Ltd. He was a Co-Founder Canis Capital Management Ltd. since 2008 and served as its Partner. From 1998 to 2005, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Futuremedia plc. And served as its Advisor. Before joining Futuremedia plc., he co-founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of The Thursley Group Inc. and a successful United States based hotel and airplane shopping venture, which he lead from start-up to exit. Mr. Johansson served as the Co-Founder of Voyagers Collection from 1992 to 1996. He was a Marketing Manager of American Express Inc. from 1989 to 1992 in London, Frankfurt and New York where he manages the market launch of the New Corporate card in Germany. He also served as a Manager of International Operations at Studentlitteratur AB from 1983 to 1987. He was employed at GP Bullhound LLP, Investment Arm. Mr. Johansson was the Global Operations Director of EF Education Inc., overseeing operations in 12 countries and 800 staff.
