Biography
Pär Nordlund is the academic co-founder of Sprint Bioscience. He is Professor at the Department of Oncology-Pathology, Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and a leading researcher in structural biology in Europe. Pär Nordlund’s group also leads their field in the development and improvement of strategies for studying the structure of difficult proteins, such as human membrane proteins. He was the founder of the Swedish section of the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) at the Karolinska Institute and is also a founder of Evitra AB and Pelago Bioscience AB. Pär Nordlund leads a structural biology department at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. In 2009 he was elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences as member number 1589.
