Biography
Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor at the Centre for Research on Bilingualism. Projects: 2013–2016 ”The role of mother-tongue instruction for the biliteracy development of Somali-Swedish speaking children in the early school years” [Grant: Swedish Research Council 721-2012-4275]. Together with Dr Christina Hedman, Dept. of Language Education, Stockholm University. 2002–2008 ”Language and language use among adolescents in multilingual urban settings” [Grant: RJ 2000-5124:01]. Principal Investigator: Professor Inger Lindberg, Stockholm University. 2000–2003 “Language, language ideologies, and the educational experiences of Chilean students in Sweden and retornados in Chile” [Grant: RJ 1999-0027:1-2].
