Biography
Matt has served as president and chief executive officer since August 2014 and as director on the board since September 2015. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Previously he served as chief commercial officer of Insmed and senior vice president, head of global commercial operations, at Shire Pharmaceuticals. Prior, he held senior positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. Matt was previously a member of the board of directors at Mast Therapeutics, Inc., and now currently serves on the board of directors of Savara Pharmaceuticals, and is a volunteer board member of the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. Matt has an MBA and BS degree from Central Michigan University and earned his JD from Michigan State University College of Law.
