Biography
Addison T. Stone chose a career in spine surgery because he enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and treating spinal conditions. It is very rewarding to see the quality of a patients life significantly improve with proper diagnosis and treatment. He spend considerable time listening to and examining my patients to accurately determine the cause of their symptoms. He encourage patients to be active in their medical care. He enjoy educating my patients about their spine in order for them to make more informed decisions. His approach to treating the spine is to start with the most conservative modalities. He specialize in treating a full range of conditions affecting the entire spine including degenerative changes, trauma, and scoliosis. He exhaust all non-operative treatments before considering more invasive options. When surgery is indicated, he spend considerable time explaining the procedure to my patients and making sure they feel comfortable throughout the process. He stay current with the latest advances in treatment options in order to provide my patients with the highest level of care. He consider myself to have strong moral and ethical character. He treat his patients as he would want himself, his family, or his friends treated. From a technical standpoint, he take great pride in his work and accept no less than perfection. He strive to provide his patients with exceptional care and he is honored to have the opportunity to improve their quality of life. He completed his education from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the year 2004, Residency in Dept of Orthopaedics from University of Washington and Fellowship from SpineCare Medical Group, San Francisco, CA. He is member of Professional Associations like American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS), Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS), The Society of Lateral Access Surgery (SOLAS). He is also certified Board member of American Board of Orthopedics Surgery.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abnormal vertebrae, abnormalities of the arms, abnormalities of the hips, abnormalities of the legs, achilles tendon repair, achilles tendonitis, acl injuries, acl repair, ankle arthritis and ankle dislocation.
