Biography
Dieter K. Schmidt understand that each persons skin is unique and his goal is to provide personalized, tailored care for each patient who walks through our doors. He completed his education from University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa in the year 1989, Residency in Dermatology from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado. He is also member of Professional Associations like Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abrasion, acanthosis nigricans, acne, acne scar, acquired lipodystrophy, actinic cheilitis, actinic keratosis, ainhum, albinism and allergic contact dermatitis.
