Biography
E. E. Khalfayan approach to patient care is to focus on the best of available options for the patient on an individual basis. His goal is to provide thorough, compassionate and quality care to his patients. When appropriate, he recommend nonoperative over operative treatment. When operative treatment is needed, he believe it should be performed with technical expertise and followed with a tailored rehabilitation program. He had completed subspecialty fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. His focus is on athletic injuries and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. As an Orthopaedic Team Physician for the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners, he treat professional and other athletes as well as nonathletes. He strive to treat each person with the same level of care. he completed his education from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in the year 1984, Residency from Naval Regional Medical Center, CA and Fellowship from Sports Medicine - Graduate Hospital/University of Pennsylvania, PA. He is member of Professional Associations like American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (Diplomate), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abnormalities of the arms, abnormalities of the hips, abnormalities of the legs, achilles tendinosis, achilles tendon repair, achilles tendonitis, acl injuries, acl repair, acromioclavicular joint separation and adhesive capsulitis.
