Biography
As a high school and collegiate athlete myself, Harold J. McCutchan was naturally drawn to orthopedics and sports medicine. While in his residency he discovered a special interest in learning more about the intricacies of the hand. He realized how disabling even a small injury to the hand can be, and am motivated to help his patients return to their normal vocational, sports and daily activities as quickly as possible. He completed his education Medical School from University of Washington School of Medicine in 1985 and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1990. He is a member of Professional Associations like American Medical Association, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Washington State Medical Association. He is also certified Board member of American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Surgery, Orthopedic and American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Orthopedics/Hand.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abnormalities of the arms, abnormalities of the hips, abnormalities of the legs, achilles tendon repair, achilles tendonitis, acl injuries, acl repair, amputation of finger and amputation of thumb.
