Biography
Dr. Beck’s philosophy of patient care is one that was cultivated during his residency and fellowship training. He believes in a shared effort with patients, families and other health care providers to create the best treatment course and maximize results for each patient. After completing his medical degree from the University of Washington, and his residency at the Geisinger Medical Center, Dr. Beck received further subspecialty training in a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of California Irvine, which included a focus in Microsurgery, complex elbow surgery and shoulder arthroplasty. He is an active contributor to the orthopaedic field, publishing many research articles, authoring orthopaedic text book chapters and presenting research at both national and international meetings. Dr. Beck is board eligible for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Surgery for the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an affiliate physician with Overlake Hospital Medical Center, Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center. In addition to surgeries of the hand, Dr. Beck focuses his practice on complex elbow surgery. He completed his education Medical School from University of Washington School of Medicine in 2007, Residency from Geisinger Health System and Fellowship from University of California at Irvine.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abnormalities of the arms and abnormalities of the hands.
