Biography
Margaret is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of gastroenterology experience. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington in 2001 and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University in 1986. She is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a current member of the American Gastroenterology Association. Margaret believes the best patient outcomes are achieved by open communication between the patient and provider with joint decision making regarding plan of care. She practices general gastroenterology with particular interests in hepatitis C, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. She is married with two sons. She volunteers regularly at the Friends of Youth Meal Program for homeless teens.
