Biography
Dr. Wallin specializes in minimally invasive and open surgery for colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease and anorectal procedures."The reason I became a colorectal surgeon was to help people in difficult situations and to provide treatment in a way that keeps the patient experience front and center. I’ve valued building my colorectal expertise through clinical research, which not only enables me to give the most current and exceptional medical care, but also to provide my patients with insight into frontline treatment options. I have had the fortune to practice colorectal surgery in both Sweden and the United States and strive to bring the best of my experience and knowledge to my work with patients." He completd his education Medical School from Karolinska Institutet in 1997, Residency in Colorectal Surgery from Danderyd Hospital in 2004 and Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery from University of Minnesota Medical School in 2012. He is also certified Board member of American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Surgery, Colorectal and American Board of Surgery, Surgery.

His research areas of interests are altemeier procedure, anal abscess, anal cancer, anal dilation, anal dysplasia, anal fissure, anal fissure fistulectomy, anal fistula, anal fistula repair and anal incontinence surgery.
