Biography
A native of the Chicago area, Dr. Sun did his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, where he also graduated with honors with a Masters degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. He attended Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his orthopedic surgery training at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami in Florida. From there, he continued his sub-specialization training with a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Washington. he completed his education Medical School from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center in 1993.He is also certified Board member of American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Surgery, Orthopedic and American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Surgery, Hand.
Research Interest
His research areas of interests are abnormalities of the arms, abnormalities of the hips, abnormalities of the legs, achilles tendon repair, achilles tendonitis, acl injuries, acl repair, amputation of finger and amputation of thumb.
