Biography

Dr. Miranda has a patient centered philosophy as she has a deep commitment to empowering patients to feel their best while attaining natural looking outcomes. She combines artistry with patient care and prides herself on listening to each patient’s needs. It is through an individualized experience which focuses on safety, attention, and satisfaction that she can help you feel more confident while maintaining your health and natural beauty. Dr. Miranda earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and continued her training in general surgery at UCSF. She had specialty microsurgery training at the renowned Buncke Clinic where she completed a fellowship. Her plastic surgery training was completed at the University of Washington, one of the nation’s esteemed programs. She developed further expertise by completing an Aesthetic fellowship in Atlanta, GA with Dr. Mark Codner and gaining further skills with numerous experts around the country. She completed her education from University of California San Francisco in the year 2008, Residency in General Surgery from University of California San Francisco in 2011, Residency in Plastic Surgery from University of Washington in 2015 and Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery from Buncke Clinic in 2012. He is a member of Professional Associations like American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Research Interest

Her research areas of interests are abdominal scars, abdominal wall reconstruction, abdominoplasty, acquired deformity of reconstructed breast, acne, aesthetic surgery, aging, blepharoplasty, body contouring, breast augmentation, breast reconstruction and breast reduction.
