Biography
Jean-Michel Roberge is an Associate professor and Researcher at the Department of Wildlife, Fish and Environmental Studies and program director of the National Inventory of Landscapes in Sweden (NILS) at the Department of Forest Resource Management in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
Research Interest
Ecology applied to conservation issues; interactions between forest landscape management and animal assemblages; Effects of intensified forest management – including the use of nonnative tree species – on biodiversity; Effects of novel approaches for ecosystem restoration; Setting of conservation and restoration targets; Use of surrogates in conservation and restoration planning; Community ecology of forest animals, with special focus on birds.
