Biography
Johanna Wallsten is a researcher at the Department of Agricultural Research for Northern Sweden. She completed his masters in animal science in 2003 at SLU and his PhD in animal science in September 2008 at NJV. She did a post doc at the US Dairy Forage Research Center in Madison, Wisconsin during 2010-2012. After returning to Sweden,he worked at SBT two years at with administrative tasks and with a large bioenergy project.She is currently working 85% for the department of Agricultural Reasearch for Northern Sweden (NJV) and 15% as a temporary coordinator for the envronmetal ISO 14001 certificate at the Forest faculty, SLU in Umeå. Her position at NJV is around 50% different administrative tasks and 50% research.
Research Interest
Forage for ruminants (especially cows); Variety of analytical methods, eg NDF, gas vitro, EFOS (enzymatic digestibility), VOS, in situ, etc.; Forages in dairy production.
