Professor Jonathan Jones, from the Sainsbury Laboratory in Norwich, England, has been appointed Honorary Doctor of Agricultural Science. He is a world-leading researcher, specialising in how plants resist disease and a pioneer when it comes to identifying resistant genes in plants.
