Biography
Lars Edenius is a Professor in wildlife ecology, with focus on ungulates and their management, Dept. of Wildlife, Fish, and Environmental Studies, SLU, Umeå, 2012. He was working as a Senior researcher at the Dept. of Wildlife, Fish, and Environmental Studies , SLU, Umeå (1992-2011).He did PhD at the Dept of Animal Ecology, SLU, Umeå, 1988-1992. His research revolves around management of large ungulates, moose in particular. He have produced guidelines and manuals for survey techniques in the new moose management system. In 2012 he earned a position as senior extension lecturer in ecology with emphasis ungulate management. He also work as assistant coordinator for the Environmental monitoring (Foma) "Vilt" program .

Developing habitat models in forest planning;Developing and testing methods to integrate wildlife and forest management.
