Biography
Michel is leading market access and health economic activities in France and Belgium. Michel is a knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field of health economics, HTA, DRG coding and reimbursement with over 20 years experience gained from working on both the international and local level for the medical device industry, healthcare providers and insurance companies. He brought his expertise to renowned companies like Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Linde, Allianz / Mondial Assistance and Edwards Lifesciences. He has successfully managed funding & reimbursement of breakthrough innovations like the Transcatheter Aortic Valve (TAVI) in France, Benelux and Switzerland obtaining premium pricing and adequate DRG coverage. He developed market access expertise in various therapy areas: renal products, medical gas (Oxygene, INO, anaesthesia, wound healing, pain), respiratory including asthma and COPD, interventional cardiology, critical care diagnostic devices, vascular and cardiac implants. He has an M.B.A in Business Management and Healthcare Economics at Lille Catholic University in France.
