Biography
Phillip Patrick Sharp, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Scholar, Laboratory of Jack Taunton, Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, University of California, San Francisco I obtained a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry at the Australian National University advised by Prof. Martin Banwell and subsequently undertook postdoctoral research at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research with Dr Chris Burns. Currently I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco working with Prof. Jack Taunton. My main research focus is on the development of novel cancer therapeutics and chemical probes for understanding cancer biology.
