Biography
Carolina Olid Garcia is Physicist for the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Umea University, Sweden. Research interests include use of radioactive elements of both natural and artificial origin as chronological markers and its application for dating natural archives (e.g. lake sediments and peat bogs) to reconstruct environmental changes through time, whether by natural causes or human induced.
