Konstantinos Chandolias
Doctoral Student
Biotechnology
University of Boras
Sweden
Biography
Konstantinos work as a PhD student within the field of Resource Recovery where he focus on developing innovative membrane anaerobic bioreactors for biogas production. He has worked at the University of Borås since September 2014. Before that, he studied chemical engineering (bachelor/MSc) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and afterwards I attended a master program: Resource recovery - Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Borås, Sweden. He did participate in a project, which is financed by the Swedish Research Council. My research project´s topic is: Membrane anaerobic bioreactors with high cell-density and bio-methanation of syngas. Among my responsibilities at the University of Borås is 20 percent teaching.
Research Interest
Biotechnology, combustion and thermal processes, polymer technology and simulation and modeling
