Biography
Department of Historical Studies Together with Professor Håkan Karlsson, I am co-leader of 2 projects: One contemporary archaeological project in Cuba that is in co-operation with the local communities and approaches different kinds of material and immaterial remains from a former Soviet nuclear site in San Cristobal. The other project focuses on the authenticity, staging and public communication of world heritage classified rock art sites in Australia, Argentina, India, Italy, Mexico, Tanzania, and Sweden.
Research Interest
My main research interest is archaeological knowledge production, often with a historical angle. My current research topics are the history, ideology, and theory of archaeological heritage management, and the archaeology of the contemporary past.
