Biography
Carmela Miniscalco is a lecturer in logopedia and clinical lecturer at the unit for logopedia and Gillbergcentrum, University of Gothenburg. She has worked clinically with children with language difficulties for over 25 years. She is one of the project leaders for the AUDIE project (AUtism Detection and Intervention in Early life), performed at the Child Neuropsychiatric Unit (BNK) in collaboration with the BVC and Autism Rehabilitation Center in Gothenburg 2009-11. She is the author of twenty-one articles and book chapter on communication difficulties and their relation to neuropsychiatric disabilities such as autism spectrum states and ADHD. She currently manages two PhD students.
