Biography
Elisabeth Fernell is a pediatrician with specialization in child neurology and habilitation. She studied at the University of Gothenburg in 1987, became a pediatric lecturer at Karolinska institutet 1996 and professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Gothenburg 2011. She is working clinically and in research at the intersection of child neurology and child neuropsychiatry, especially with the areas of autism, ADHD and developmental disorder in children and young people. Elisabeth Fernell has published just over a hundred professional scientific works in the aforementioned areas. She manages several research students at Gillbergcentrum.
