Biography
With a background as a chemist, Margaretha started her career at Pharmacia before moving to Biacore. There she worked in R&D for seven years and then with commercialisation for a further seven years. After a number of years in various start-up companies in the life science as well as her own consulting firm, she worked with Personalized Medicine and Companion Diagnostics at Thermo Fischer prior to joining us. Margaretha is also a board member of Uppsala University's holding company, which gives her good insight into issues relating to the financing of companies. At Uppsala BIO, Margaretha will be working to draw up strategies for the further development of the region’s life science sector.
