Biography
His research and work clinically in child and adolescent psychiatry. The focus of his research is emotional regulation and stress physiological patterns in psychiatric problems - from early detection to treatment. His research has so far focused on physiological regulation and stress experience, related to the symptom of ADHD. The results show, among other things, on a down-regulated HPA axis with lower levels of the hormone cortisol. Planned projects are about identifying biomarkers in ADHD and PTSD, designing and evaluating group treatment for adolescents with ADHD, as well as investigating gender differences and regional differences in ADHD prevalence.
