Biography
Patrik Aspers is professor at the Department of sociology. His research focuses on economic sociology, especially markets, and sociological theory. Empirically he has worked on fashion. Aspers is the author of Orderly Fashion, A Sociology of Markets (Princeton UP, 2010), Markets (Polity Press 2011),Markets in Fashion (2006 Routledge). the editor with J. Beckert of The Worth of Goods, and w (Oxford UP, 2011), and with N.Dodd Re-Imagining Ecnoomic Sociology (Oxford UP 2015).
