Biography
Born 1951. MSc. President & CEO of Volvo Car Group since 2012. Board member Teknikföretagen (Engineering companies) since 2013. Member of the Volvo Board since April 2016. Holdings in Volvo, own and related parties as per March 6, 2017 106,000 Series B shares. Principal work experience Began his career in 1977 at Scania where he stayed for more than 20 years. He held leading positions within Scania’s technical division before he joined the executive board in 1996. He brought his vast truck experience from Scania to MAN in 2000 when he became Chairman & CEO of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG. Chairman & CEO of MAN AG from 2005-2009.
