Biography
James W. Griffith was born in 1954. He secured BSc degree in Industrial Engineering and MBA from Stanford University. He works at Illinois Tool Works Inc. Member of the Volvo Board since April, 2014. James began his career at The Timken Company in 1984, where he has held several management positions, such as responsible for Timken's bearing business activities in Asia, the Pacific and Latin America and for the company's automotive business in North America. Until 2014 President and Chief Executive Officer at Timken Company.
