Born 1948. MSc Engineering, Bachelor Business Administration. Board member SSAB Svenskt Stål AB, Sandvik AB and Stena AB. Member of the Volvo Board since April 2007. Holdings in Volvo, own and related parties as per March 6, 2017 198,000 shares including 168,000 Series B shares. Principal work experience Has held various positions within ASEA 1972-1984. Served several executive positions at ESAB AB 1984-1994 including Chief Executive Officer and President. Chief Executive Officer and President of Gränges AB 1994-1999. Chief Executive Officer and President of Autoliv Inc. 1999-2007 and Chairman of Autoliv Inc. 2007-2011. Previously Chairman of Husqvarna AB, Vattenfall AB and Ahlsell AB.
