David Holtze

Biography

Dave is the Global Vice Chair of Finance and CFO at EY, a leading global professional services organization. In his role he leads all of EY's finance related activities including finance, investments, treasury and tax. He is a member of the Global Executive, as well as the Global Markets and Investment Committee.   Previous experience   Dave joined EY in 1981 and has held many leadership positions. Prior to his appointment as Global Vice Chair- Finance, Dave was the Global Vice Chair-Tax, leading the more than 35,000 Tax people around the world. Dave moved to London in 2008 to become the Global COO for Tax. Before moving to London, Dave spent nine years in New York, where he was first the Chief Financial Officer and then the Chief Operating Officer of the Americas' Tax practice. From 1993 to 2000, he was the Midwest Region Tax Leader, based in Minneapolis. He has also served as a Tax Account Leader, and Senior Advisory Partner on a number of large clients.

Research Interest

Dave holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He currently lives and works in London.
