Biography
Education and other assignments: Fred Askari completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, then earned his MD and Ph.D. in Pharmacology at Cornell University Medical College in NY, NY. He completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine, Medical Genetics and Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the University of Michigan, while concluding post doctoral research training at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He directs the Wilson Disease Program at the University of Michigan.
Research Interest
