Biography
Education and other assignments: Karl Heinz Weiss, MD, earned his Diploma of Medicine at the University of Freiburg, where he also worked with experimental research in neuroanatomy. He completed a fellowship at the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Heidelberg before consulting in gastroenterology at Facharzt. In 2013, he became an associate professor for Internal Medicine, senior physician, chairman of the Liver Cancer Board and the Deputy Head of Transplant Hepatology. Since 2015, he is serving as a professor at the University of Heidelberg. Weiss has published several articles within Wilson Disease.
