Dr. Sven Håkan Björklund

Biography

 Dr. Sven Håkan Björklund, M.D., Ph.D.(neuroscience), serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Nycomed Pharma AS. Dr. Björklund serves as Partner of Tellacq AB. He has been Operating Executive of Avista Capital Holdings, L.P since October 2011. He joined Avista Capital Holdings, L.P. in October 2011 and specializes in healthcare. Dr. Björklund worked closely with the Avista team on the development of Nycomed prior to its sale to Takeda. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Acino International AG since December 18, 2013. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nycomed Holding ApS and Nyco Holdings 2 ApS. Before joining Avista Capital Partners, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nycomed Luxco SA, from May 1999 until its sale to Takeda Pharmaceuticals in September 2011. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nycomed at Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dr. Björklund served as a Regional Director at Astra AB (now AstraZeneca PLC) from 1996 to 1999, where he was responsible for sales and marketing in the Nordic Region, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Greece and South Africa, from 1998 to 1999. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Takeda Pharmaceuticals International GmbH (formerly, Nycomed International Management GmbH) until September 30, 2011. Dr. Björklund served as Regional Director of Astra's Nordic Region from 1996 to 1998 and as President of Astra Draco AB from 1991 to 1996. He served as President of AstraZeneca (Astra Pain Control ) from 1989 to 1991 and Pharmacia Ophtalmics from 1985 to 1989. He has been the Chairman at Trimb Healthcare AB since July 8, 2015. He has been Chairman and Director of BONESUPPORT HOLDING AB (publ) since December 15, 2016. He has been Chairman of BONESUPPORT AB since December 15, 2016 and its Director since September 2016. He has been Chairman and Director of Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB since May 24, 2016. He has been Chairman of Acino International AG since December 17, 2013. He serves as Chairman of Trimb Holding AB. He serves as the Chairman of Acino Holding AG at Luye Pharma AG. He served as the Chairman of H. Lundbeck A/S from March 2013 to April 6, 2016. He served as Deputy Chairman of Danisco A/S (now DuPont Nutrition Biosciences ApS) from August 2009 to June 10, 2011 and its Director from 2004 to June 10, 2011.
