Johan Ek

Biography

 Mr. Johan Ek serves as the Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer at Handicare Accessibility Limited. Mr. Ek serves as an Portfolio Company Operating Chairman at Nordic Capital. He has been an Industrial Advisor at Nordic Capital since July 2012. He also works as an investor through his own business. From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Ek served as President and Chief Executive Officer at the Relacom Group. He worked at LGP Allgon AB and served in various positions including President and later became President of Business Unit Europe at Powerwave Technologies Inc. Mr. Ek started his career at McKinsey & Company as a Management Consultant. He serves as Chairman of the Board of CPS Color (Corob) and Sunrise Medical. Mr. Ek served as the Chairman of the Board at Saferoad AS from 2012 to February 15, 2017. He serves as vice Chairman of the Board of Handicare. He has been a Director of Acino International AG since February 22, 2017. Mr. Ek holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland.
