Kalle Kand

Biography

 Mr. Kalle Känd serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and a Member of Group Management at Acino AG. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and Member of Group Management at Acino International AG since April 19, 2016 and May 16, 2014 respectively and served as its Chief Commercial Officer from May 16, 2014 to 2016. Mr. Känd served as Vice President Strategic Planning and Business Support Emerging Markets, Takeda Pharmaceuticals International GmbH, Zurich from 2012 to 2014. He served as Head of Strategic Planning and Alliance Management and Member of the Russian CIS Management Team, Nycomed Russia CIS from 2009 to 2011; International Marketing Director, Nycomed, Denmark from 2006 to 2008; Sales and Marketing Director Baltic States, Nycomed SEFA As from 2001 to 2005; Country Manager Estonia, Berlin-Chemie Menarini Group from 1998 to 2001; Managing Director, TopMed Ltd., Estonia from 1993 to 1998; and General Practitioner, Tallinn Pelgulinna Hospital, Tallinn, Estonia and Helsinki University Hospital, Helsinki, Finland from 1991 to 1994. He holds an M.D., from University of Tartu, Estonia and a Degree in Economics from University of Tartu, Estonia.
