Biography
Bill Fairey leads Actelion’s Sales, Marketing, Medical and Regulatory activities in the United States. He has a vast experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing which he gained in a career spanning over 25 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry. He joined Actelion in the early days in 2001 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility within the company. Most recently he was VP of Actelion Australia Asia Pacific and prior to that President of Actelion Canada. Before moving to Canada, Bill was VP, Sales and Managed Care for Actelion US. Bill started his pharmaceutical career with Parke-Davis US, where he held various positions on the commercial side of the business. His experience includes a number of therapeutic areas including Cardiovascular Disesases, Pulmonary, Lysosomal disorders, as well as CNS, diabetes, and antibiotics. Bill received his BS, in Biology from the University of Oregon and his M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College, California.
