Biography
Douglas leads the Actelion US Legal and Compliance teams. He joined Actelion in 2011 bringing a wealth of experience from the last 20 years providing counsel in the pharmaceutical industry, at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and in private practice. Most recently, Douglas held the position as Senior Vice President, General Counsel at Eisai Inc. Prior to Eisai, Douglas held the role of Vice-President, Associate General Counsel for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals and before joining the pharmaceutical industry Douglas held the role of Associate General Counsel for the FDA. Douglas holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a B.A. from Dickinson College.
