Biography
Sonya Zilka is Vice President of Human Resources for Actelion, US. Prior to joining Actelion, Sonya was an independent consultant assisting organizations with Organizational Development and People Strategy. Sonya has held full time Human Resources Leadership roles with a diverse array of organizations, including The Bank for International Settlements, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, EA (Electronic Arts), Citibank Private Bank and NBC (National Broadcasting Company). Sonya has lived and worked internationally in Europe (while at the BIS), in Australia and leading HR for the Asia region for Electronic Arts as Vice President of Human Resources, Asia, Electronic Arts. She graduated from General Electric’s Human Resources Leadership Program in 1998 and has a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
